Cat Fletcher

Cat Fletcher is a multi-award-winning and tireless waste-prevention activist, researcher and practitioner. She is at the frontline of facilitating and accelerating reuse in Brighton (UK) and beyond.

Cat co-founded Freegle UK's biggest (2.8 million members) free online reuse network (2009), sourced the materials for and co-created the University of Brighton's famous Waste House (2014), co-founded Tech-Takeback (2016) and since 2013 intercepts 'waste' from the local council, community and universities and redistributes via 12 shipping containers to good causes, innovators and artists.

Cat also lectures, runs events, social media campaigns, and does a bunch of inspiring public speaking around the globe.
